- PVC Card Tray: Most inkjet printers require a dedicated PVC card tray to feed and print on these cards correctly. This tray is often sold separately from the cards themselves.
- Inkjet Compatibility: Ensure you choose cards specifically labeled "for inkjet printers." Standard PVC cards will not absorb the ink properly.
- Epson Photo+ Software: Epson's Photo+ software can assist in creating and printing ID cards. You can find instructions and guides online, including video tutorials.

Printing Process:
- Load the cards into the PVC card tray and then load the tray into the printer.
- Use appropriate software (like Epson Photo+) to set up your ID card design.
- Make sure to select the correct printer and printing settings.
- When prompted by the printer, insert the tray.
- Once printing is complete, remove the tray and the ID cards.
- Special Coating: These PVC cards have a specially formulated coating that allows inkjet ink to adhere and dry quickly, preventing smudging and ensuring crisp prints. Normal PVC cards, like standard credit cards, are not designed to absorb inkjet ink and will not produce acceptable results.
- Direct Printing: You can directly print onto the surface of these cards using a compatible inkjet printer equipped with a PVC card tray (sold separately). This simplifies the ID card creation process, eliminating the need for lamination or over-molding steps commonly associated with other card printing methods.
- Waterproof and Durable: Once printed, the cards are resistant to water and wear, ensuring the longevity of your printed designs.
